The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines Agriculture as the science, art, or practice
of cultivating the soil, producing crops, and raising livestock and in varying degrees
and the preparation and marketing of the resulting products.
Through the ages it has been an art and practice, but as the world changes, more
and more pressure is being exerted on agriculture to produce more and more with less
and less, forcing agriculture to apply science to cope.
HTAD has its origin in South African agriculture in 2000. The innovations, science
and expertise, along with the network of associates, that have been gathered over
the years, has now been brought to Zambia, to move agriculture in the region to the
leading edge of technology.
